Cosmo AV

Cosmo AV was founded in 2003, by Pierre-Yves Toulot and Joseph Cristiani, to carry out ‘large-scale video image’ activities, for musicals, theatre and opera. The studio creates its first external architectural video mapping in 2008, at Place de la Bourse in Bordeaux, for the Fête du Vin. It has specialised in this technology ever since. By putting spectacle and emotion at the heart of its creative work, Cosmo AV has created dozens of video mapping shows, some huge in size, projected in France, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Austria and Ukraine, Morocco, Russia, Turkey, Oman and the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Mexico, etc. Cosmo AV is also behind the creation of La tour est belle [Ndlt: the tower is beautiful] in July 2009: this is the first light projection show that uses the full height of the Eiffel Tower (324 metres). The studio has been involved on the music scene on several occasions (classical or electronic) and has also remained loyal to the city of Nîmes and its iconic monuments such as the Maison Carrée, the Arena and the Clock Tower, for which it has designed and produced numerous video mapping spectacles.
