Petrichor

Immersive video mapping, performed indoor or outdoor - Linear

The installation PETRICHOR combines abstract video projections by Robert Seidel with an ambient soundscape by Nikolai von Sallwitz, choreographed artificial fog and light. Named after the earthy scent created when rain falls on dry earth, the projection creates an immersive, semi-holographic light field of spectral, organic patterns reminiscent of weather phenomena and digital hybridisations of flora and fauna.
